Come Visit Us
Our Campus Visit Experience typically involves:
- a 45-60 minute information session presented by an admissions officer and
- an hour-long campus tour led by a student ambassador.
Depending on the academic calendar, class schedules, and the availability of our staff and student ambassadors, our program offerings may include only an information session or a tour or contain both in reversed order. Please take note of what is offered on the desired day for your visit.
The information session will cover academic offerings, the application process and evaluation, financial aid, scholarships, and more. Walking tours focus on a day in the life of a typical W&L student, from where they sleep, eat, study, and play to the fun traditions and lore that make Washington and Lee and the town of Lexington special.
When both an information session and tour are offered, please plan to participate in both programs to ensure you leave with a comprehensive view of all W&L has to offer.

If a campus visit experience is at capacity or otherwise not available, you are still welcome to visit our campus and take our self-guided walking tour. Campus maps for self-guided tours are available outside the Admissions Office.
Note: W&L follows local and state guidance regarding the pandemic; visit policies are subject to change.
